The Gallatin Valley’s Premier Motocross Track

HYLINE RACEWAY GETS WINGS!

Gallatin Valley’s Only Motocross Track Selected As Location for the Launch of Red Bull Renewal

BOZEMAN – MAY 1st, 2008 – Red Bull partnered with Hyline Raceway in Bozeman (MT) and the Gallatin Valley Dirt Riders (GVDR) for the launch of the Red Bull Renewal program, designed by Red Bull to drive development of community motocross tracks at a grassroots level and foster the talent and interest of motocross enthusiasts.

Hyline Raceway will unveil the newly designed track on May 7, 2008, at the first public ride day.  Gates will open to the public at 2pm.  Riding is free for GVDR members and $10 for other riders.  Hyline will also host the best motocross racers in Montana at two High Country Motocross Association (HCMA) sanctioned races on May 17-18th, 2008 and August 16th, 2008.

Steve Miller of SCS (Bozeman) has been selected as the project manager.  Miller brings a wealth of course building experience to this project.  Most recently Miller built freestyle moto courses at Evel Knievel Days in Butte (MT) with SCS Productions and freestyle snowmobile courses at the Red Bull Fuel & Fury series and Red Bull Revolution on Machines in Moscow, Russia.  Bozeman native and GVDR member Cameron Weaver is working closely with Miller to ensure the success of this initiative.

“The Red Bull Renewal program is a dream come true because it allows us (SCS) to return to our roots…which are in racing!  This program doesn’t look at the current shape of a facility, but truly what it can become.  Since breaking ground in early April, the community response has been incredible.  This is what its all about, bringing the community together to progress the sport of motocross for the next generation!” commented Miller.

A COMMUNITY EFFORT

Local Bozeman business, T&E Caterpillar, recognizes the vision of this project and provided additional support by donating the use of world-class excavators and loaders to complete dirtwork at the track.  Additional contributors include Sunshine Irrigation, Ressler Chevrolet, Ressler Toyota, Yamaha, Powerplay Honda, Peak Painting and Kenyon Noble.  More are coming on board each day.

The Red Bull Renewal project will help the local community build the most progressive motocross facility in the region and position the Gallatin Valley Dirt Riders club for long-term facility management success.
