Rules
PLEASE READ, UNDERSTAND AND ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES BEFORE ENTERING THE PRIVATE PROPERTY. YOU ARE ENTERING AN OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLE RIDING AREA. UNEXPECTED DANGERS EXIST AND INJURY MAY OCCUR.

1. Riders must wear helmet and boots.
2. Buddy system riding only
3. GVDR membership sticker is required for all GVDR members.
4. Adult/ legal guardian must accompany any child under the age of 14.
5. No alterations of the track. respect the area, ride only where you are supposed to.
6. Respect the pits area, reasonable and prudent. 1st gear.
7. ALL guests must read and sign release of liability waiver before enter ing the premises. Members are fully responsible for guests.
8. Respect all riders . size, skill, speed, ability both on and off the track.
9. Split riding times at all Open Riding Sessions for Big Bikes and Little Bikes.
10. Special respect for the little riders. They are the future of our sport.
11. No firearms or drugs of any kind are allowed on GVDR grounds.
12. Lock the gate behind you upon entering and upon exiting. Gate must remain locked at all times.
13. We are not responsible for lost or stolen property nor accidents or damage of any kind.
14. The starting gate is open for use. Practice your starts, respect this property and we will be able to keep this privilege.
15. Disrespect the rules, the grounds, or anyone and you will be suspended temporarily or permanently.
16. ATV’s are not allowed on the track, except for designated events.
17. Have fun, be safe.


SPECIAL NOTICE
Montana State Law Sec. 23-2-822, MCA, which is entitled “Off-Highway Vehicle Operator Responsibilities” applies to use on these premises and states the following:
(1) An off-highway vehicle operator shall accept all legal responsibility for injury or damage of any kind to the extent that the injury results from risks inherent in the sport of off-highway vehicle use and shall regulate personal conduct at all times so that injury to self of other persons or property that results from the risks inherent in the sport of off-highway vehicle operations is avoided.
(2) Risks inherent in the sport of off-highway vehicle operation included variations in terrian, surface or subsurface conditions, cervices, ravines, streams, poor visibility, rocks, trees, other forms of forest growth or debris, and any other natural hazard.
(3) An off-highway vehicle operator is responsible for: (a) knowing the range of the operator’s ability to navigate any slope, trail, or area for off-highway vehicle use within the limits of the operator’s ability, taking into consideration the conditions; (b) maintaining control of speed and course at all times while operating the off-highway vehicle; (c) heeding all posted warnings; and (d) refraining from acting in a manner that may cause or contribute to the injury of anyone.
(4) The provisions of this section do not effect a products liability cause of action based upon the design or manufacture of off-highway equipment or products or safety equipment used incidental to the operation of an off-highway vehicle.
